Milo Hanrahan Yiannopoulos was born in Kent, England, on October 18, 1984, to parents Nicolas Hanrahan, and a British and Jewish mother. While growing up in Kent, his stepfather raised him, and often physically abused him. He attended Simon Langton Grammar School for Boys and later studied at the University of Manchester. He dropped out and moved to Wolfson College in Cambridge, where he was expelled.
