Born in Los Angeles, California, on March 2, 1981, Bryce Dallas Howard is the daughter of Ron Howard, a famous actor and director. Her mother is Cheryl Howard, née Alley, who also had a few minor roles in her career. Her father once explained that her Bryce middle name is the city where she was conceived. Bryce graduated from Byram Hills High School in 1999 and enrolled at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. She left the university in order to pursue a Broadway career.

Career
Her role of Rosalind in the play As You Like It caught the attention of M. Night Shyamalan, who offered her a part in The Village in 2004. In 2006, she repeated the role of Rosalind, this time in Kenneth Branagh’s 2006 film adaptation of As You Like It, which brought her the nomination for a Golden Globe. In 2007, she appeared in Spiderman 3, as Gwen Stacey.

The audience started to take notice of her in 2010 when she appeared in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, playing the role of vampire Victoria. She also played in Terminator Salvation. Neither of the movies was well-received by the critics but was financially successful. She also had minor roles in 50/50 and The Help in 2010.
In 2015 she starred in Jurassic World, her biggest role to date. The movie was the start of a franchise and she repeated the role of Claire Dearing in Jurassic World: the Fallen Kingdom in 2018.
Private Life
Bryce Dallas Howard married Seth Gabel in 2006. The couple met at New York University and dated for five years before deciding to tie the knot. She gave birth to their son Theodore in 2007. After recovering from a bout of post-partum depression. Bryce went back to work. She had a daughter Beatrice in 2012.
